Thomas Cocking

Cocking, Thomas, ministre wesleyen anglais, entra dans le ministère en 1819, et pendant plus d'un demi-siècle fut un prédicateur pratique et zélé, très aimé. Il mourut à Alford le 6 octobre 1870, dans sa quatre-vingt-et-unième année. M. Cocking écrivit A Sketch of Wesleyan Methodism, with its History in the Grantham Circuit (1836, 12mo); Sabbath Desecration (Londres, 1847, 2e éd. 12mo), excellent tractat pratique.
