Richard Byfield

Byfield, Richard, nonconformiste anglais, frère de Nicholas, naquit dans le Worcestershire, étudia à Cambridge et devint vicaire d'Isleworth. Il occupa la charge de Long-Ditton pendant la Commonwealth, et fut expulsé à la Restauration. Il fut membre de l'Assemblée des Divines et un vigoureux opposant à la prélature et à la superstition. Il mourut en 1664.
