John Ovington

Ovington, John, un écrivain ecclésiastique et voyageur anglais, naquit au XVIIe siècle. Il fut aumônier du roi Jacques II. En 1689 il s'embarqua pour les Indes orientales et passa plusieurs années à Surat. Il publia en 1698 son Voyage to Surat in the years 1689–1693, etc., qui fut traduit en français.
