Bryce Johnstone (théologien écossais)

Johnstone, Bryce, théologien et écrivain écossais éminent, naquit à Annan, Dumfriesshire, en 1747. Il étudia à l'Université d'Edinburgh, où il obtint le D.D. Il entra dans l'Église, et fut pendant longtemps pasteur de Holyrood (à partir de 1771), et mourut en 1805. Il écrivit Commentary on the Revelation of John (1794, 2 vols. 8vo) : — On the Influence of Religion on civil Society and civil Government (1801).
